Islesboro Incubator

The IESC has put together an informal group of people with business experience who are willing to offer advice, assistance and coaching to island entrepreneurs.  We want to encourage the formation of island businesses, but our support would depend on a viable and fully developed business plan.  Many Islesboro residents have experience in areas that would be helpful in thinking through and forming such a plan, for example:

 

• Legal matters such as forms of business and filings

• Financial matters such as cash flow, costs and revenue sources

• Bookkeeping and record keeping

• Employment and payroll

• Small team management and team building

• Communication and advertising

• Customer relations

• Web site design
